With just over a month to go to the Monmouthshire Show, it’s throwback photo time!

At its recent meeting the show’s committee took a trip down memory lane to find photos from shows gone by…

But, we suspect that our readers will have many more memories and photos from the shows of the past and would invite you to send them in for us to feature in a future edition of the Beacon, in the run up to this year’s Show on 18 August.

Of course, any photos submitted may be printed in the paper or online so please do make sure you have permission from any people featured in the photo before you send it.

You can send your photos via email: to [email protected] or drop them into our office at 116-118 Monnow Street. Please include details of the year, together with details of any people featured in the photo or any other explanation that may be needed.
