Cllr Jane Lucas has thanked Monmouth Town Council and local residents for their support in funding and planting wildflowers across the area.

With £500 provided by Monmouth Town Council, she was able to purchase the flowers for the Osbaston ward, enhancing the local environment while also supporting biodiversity and native flora.

She also extended special thanks to local residents Maxine, Glyn, and Brinley’s family for their help in planning and planting the wildflowers.

“It was amazing to see the visual difference they made, and even better to know the positive impact on the environment. Wildflowers are a vital part of our local ecosystem, helping to support bees, butterflies, and other wildlife. Seeing the flowers today really made me smile. Thank you again to everyone involved.”
