MILLIE Malsom starred again as the former Monmouth Comprehensive student fired a hat-trick for Ross Juniors Women in a 6-2 win at Hereford Pegasus.
The result lifts them level on points in a three-way tie at the top of the Mid West Counties Female League with Hereford FC and Kingfisher from Redditch.
In their fourth away trip in a row, Juniors travelled with the bare 11 due to losing two players overnight and injuries.
A blocked shot fell to Lauren Creed to fire them in front on 10 minutes, before Malsom opened her account two minutes later, turning her defender and firing a low finish into the net.
It wasn't long before she doubled her account, Ross hitting Pegasus on the counter attack and Creed feeding Malsom to make it 3-0 at half-time.
Pegasus hit back for 3-1 within four minutes of the restart, but on 55 minutes Macy Walker quickened up the play and sent Malsom in behind to finish well for her hat-trick and 4-1.
The hosts hit back again with just over 15 minutes left, but six minutes later it was 5-2 and the result was sealed four minutes from time when a clearance from the Pegasus keeper was intercepted and netted.
And this Sunday sees a top of the table clash, with Millie and the team heading to Herefordshire’s top football venue Edgar Street to take on Hereford FC, kick-off 2pm.
