CYCLISTS will be rolling back the years this Saturday (September 28) in aid of charity at the 5th Chepstow Cycling Club Historic Ride.

The event celebrates the golden age of cycling while supporting The Trussell Trust, which combats poverty through food banks and support.

Riders can choose between 80km (50 miles) or 50km (32 miles) routes, with a feed stop at Monmouth, and are being urged to ride vintage bikes or wear retro attire (wool jerseys, leather shoes, caps) to celebrate the 135-year-old club’s beginnings, and the daring cyclists who once raced from Beachley Point along the winding A466 north of Llancloudy and back.

Registrations close at the end of Thursday (September 26) at www.chepstowcyclingclub.wales/shop
