THERE is a yellow weather warning this morning in Monmouthshire, with alerts of heavy rain and gusts approaching 50mph.

Things should start to improve into the afternoon, say the Met Office.

But another alert has been issued for Sunday (January 23), with gusts again of up to 50mph and heavy rain forecast between 8am and 6pm.
