TRAFFIC in Monmouth was brought to a temporary standstill for half an hour when a lorry got caught leaving the Oldway Centre.
When turning onto Monnow Street, the lorry appeared to collide with the scaffolding and a road sign, bringing traffic to a halt this afternoon (16th February).
Police quickly arrived on the scene to direct traffic, along with workers from the Co-operative.
The lorry was finally freed to applause from onlookers at around 2pm.
