Rhi Daffurn local organiser, who was a well-known face with the town youth drama group said: “When I had my daughter 18 months ago, I struggled to find activities that fit around her nap schedule, which often clashed with baby groups. To keep myself busy, I began walking to town daily.
“Towards the end of my maternity leave, as naps became less restrictive, I discovered the incredible variety of groups and classes available in Monmouth, but there was no single source for this information. With my professional background in events, both locally and nationally, I realized I could fill this gap. I recalled a site called Cheltenham Rocks from my time in Cheltenham, and after some research, I connected with the My Town Rocks network to see if we could establish something similar for Monmouthshire. Six weeks later, Monmouthshire Rocks went live!
