Jane Lucas, county councillor for the Osbaston ward has said her ward was one of many given money from Monmouth Town Council to plant wild primroses.

The 500 plants have arrived in the area and she hoping to get them planted next week.

The areas in Osbaston to get a show of colour will be; Hereford Rd / Bank of Vine Arce; Highfield Rd off Hereford Rd; Lancaster Way if there is enough opposite side to the houses on the bank; Chaucer Way underneath the trees – not touching the Daffs; Bottom of Beaufort rd behind the bench; Osbaston Rd at the bottom of Chaucer around the tree.

MCC grounds will strimming the areas really low to give the plants a chance to get going.
