MONROSS Trailblazers had a quieter racing weekend than usual as just three runners represented the team at two very different events.
Emma King travelled up to Coed Y Brenin in the Snowdonia National park to run the Buff Winter Trail Wales.?Not your average half marathon this as it is held on the world famous Red Bull mountain bike range and covers 2,000 feet of ascent across the 13.1 mile course.
Emma ran well, finishing in 22nd position in the female open category with a time of 2 hours 21 minutes.
Andy Stephens and Barry Davies travelled to Caerphilly to run in the South Wales Winter Hill Series the 3.75 mile Craig Yr Allt fell race.
Andy completed the course in 31 minutes 36 seconds (5th place) and Barry not too far behind in 33 minutes 46 seconds, around 10th place.
Andy will be aiming to finish the series as his age group winner, with two races left to go.
