WYE Valley racehorse trainer Ryan Potter is looking forward to an exciting Friday for his stable, with three runners at Market Rasen.
One of his standout entries is Jetoile, who produced a memorable win in the Old Roan Chase at Aintree in 2023, and is set to compete in the Unibet Middle Distance Chase Series Veterans’ Handicap Chase.
Ryan, who trains at his Caradoc stables in Sellack, said: "Hopefully he runs well, and he will most likely stay in veteran company the rest of the season."
Jetoile will be ridden by Dylan Johnson, following the recent retirement of Daryl Jacob.
The stable is also buzzing with anticipation for Ithaka, who has shown significant improvement in recent weeks.
"Ithaka seems on a real upward curve and has entries for both Rasen and Haydock on Saturday."
Entered at Market Rasen on Friday are:
- 13:25 Jetoile in the Unibet Middle Distance Chase Series Veterans' Handicap Chase (Class 2, 2m 5f 89y)
- 14:00 Ithaka in the Try Unibet's New Smartview Racecards Handicap Hurdle (Class 4, 2m 7f 16y)
- 15:45 Knockanore in the Read Nicky Henderson's Weekly Unibet Blog Handicap Chase (Class 4, 2m 7f 191y)
Ithaka is also entered on Saturday at Haydock in the Sky Bet Club Handicap Hurdle (Go North Cab On Target Series Qualifier) (2m 5f) at 1.20pm.
