A FANTASTIC 104 from Adam Roberts propelled South East Wales Seven table-toppers Monmouth 1st XI to an eight-wicket win at home to Whitchurch Heath 3rds on Saturday.
Osian Jones took four wickets and David Teague two as the hosts restricted Heath to 161-9.
And Roberts' 104 knock off 94 balls, including 12 fours and three sixes, backed by Teague with an unbeaten 25 and Paul Brooks with 29, saw Monmouth race to 162-2 in 28.3 overs.
The 2nds also won by four wickets away to Llanarth 2nds, dismissing the hosts for 147 in 38.5 overs before reaching 148-6 with 5.4 overs to spare.
Keiran Shaw starred for Monmouth with four wickets and 46 runs, while Aled Jones and Neil Saunders took two wickets apiece, and Barry Jones scored 31.
Llanarth's top run getters were James Lalley with 32 and Chris Page with 28, as Pavan Akula took two wickets.
There was defeat for Monmouth 3rds though at home to Malpas, who were dismissed for 39 before the visitors scampered to 41-1.
The tide went out on Chepstow 1sts beside the sea at Penarth in South Wales Premier 2, all out for 179 in the 50th over before the hosts reached 181-7 with 2.3 overs to spare.
Opener Sam Hope-Bell top-scored for Chepstow with 47 backed by skipper Mitchell Harris and Harry Hughes, both with 31, and Ben Sidney-Jones with 28, while Lewys Jones, Filip Chitnis and Bruno Chitnis took wicekt braces.
The 2nds won a nailbiter on the final ball at home to Cardiff CC 3rds, by a single run though.
Skipper Cameron Rees scored 37 and opener Luke Watson 35 before they were all out for 166 in the 38th over.
But it just proved enough, Josh Tregaskes snaring three wickets and Philip Richardson taking the seventh wicket on the penultimate ball, before the city side could only score a single off the final ball needing two to draw.
It was a totally different ball game for the 3rds, who won by 200 runs at home to Abergavenny 4ths.
Skipper Rizan Mansoor cracked an unbeaten 60, backed by Eddie Hillman with 42, Raahi Kumar 39, Alun Jones 24 and Charlie Hawkins 23 as Chepstow racked up 247-7 off 40 overs.
And the visitors then crumbled to 47 all out in the 22nd over, Amrullh Ahmadi taking 4-8, Hillman 2-6 and Zakerya Ahmadzai 2-1 off just five balls.
Nearly 600 runs were scored as Llanarth 1sts won by 49 runs away to Newport 3rds.
The visitors compiled 304-9 off 45 overs, opener Ollie Mann hitting a magnificent 149, including 18 fours and four sixes, backed by Sean Edwards with 34, before the hosts were restricted to 255-7.
And Penallt and Redbrook squeezed home with three balls to spare away to Aston Ingham 3rds, chasing down 135-9 to reach 136-3.
Ross Williams starred with five wickets before Graham Hyde struck an unbeaten 57 and Liam Hurcombe 45.
