Ahead of tomorrow's ( Wednesday’s) Dydd Santes Dwynwen - a day that is considered to be the Welsh equivalent to Valentine's Day - RSPCA Cymru is hoping that love is in the air for some of the pets that have been so far overlooked in their search for a forever home.
At RSPCA Newport Animal Centre, staff are hoping someone will soon fall in love with rabbit duo, Harry and Khloe. Harry came to the RSPCA via one of the charity’s inspectors, as he was part of a multi-household of rabbits and his welfare needs were not being met. Khloe came in as a stray and has found a friend in Harry.
The centre’s behaviour and welfare advisor, Hayley Moorey, said: “Harry and Khloe certainly love each other and have a strong bond with each other since they have been with us.
“Harry has been at the centre for two years in June and Khloe - a year in March - so we are eagerly awaiting the perfect person to give them a forever home.”
“Sadly we have had little interest in the pair and have had no luck rehoming them. If you think you could fall in love with these two please get in touch!”
