THE A40 duel carriageway towards Monmouth from Ross was partially blocked yesterday (15th January) due to a road traffic collision.

West Mercia Police were called at 1.20pm to the scene near Whitchurch.

A black Renault Megane was reportedly involved with its driver suffering from potentially serious injuries. He was later taken to Hereford County Hospital complaining of neck and back pain.
