On Sunday 18th April, the Monmouth Lions Club organised and ran a 'fun horse ride'.
The event was very well attended with in excess of 120 participants, who enjoyed a fabulous day riding in the Wye Valley.
May I, through your newspaper, thank the following on behalf of Monmouth Lions Club for their help in contributing to this event being such a success?
John and Shirley Culimore, Tump Farm Whitebrook, Eagle Plant Hire, Harold Johns and the Royal Monmouthshire Royal Engineers (Militia).
A substantial sum of money was raised, which will be used to support local causes.
A number of local public houses recently supported Monmouth Lions in their Easter Egg raffle and may I also thank them?
