The public are being asked by Welsh Government to make known their views on how regional investment in Wales will be spent after the UK leaves the EU.
For over 20 years EU funding has helped businesses, people and communities across Wales. This funding was used to create and protect thousands of jobs, develop new skills and infrastructure and invest in research and innovation.
Now that we have left the EU this funding will stop. But the UK Government has promised to replace it and a new Wales-based plan is needed to ensure we use the funding in the best way.
Welsh Government wants to know how communities across Wales would like to see future funding spent and are seeking people’s views via a quick to answer, on-line questionnaire.
To record your views on matters such as creating jobs and businesses, the provision of training, support for research and innovation, the move to a zero carbon economy, creating healthier and sustainable communities, go to the Your Community:Your Say website at www.yoursay.wales or in Welsh at www.eichdweud.cymru
Responses to the questionnaire must be completed by May 22, 2020 and further information on the Welsh Government’s consultation can be found at https://gov.wales/framework-for-regional-investment-in-wales
