A PUPIL from Redbrook School cut his hair for the first time in three years to donate it to the charity, the Little Princess Trust.
Vittorio Turnbull (pictured) grew his hair since moving to Penallt from Italy in 2012, in order that he could donate it to a charity which makes wigs for children who lose their hair through treatments for illnesses such as leukaemia.
"It feels really weird not to have my hair," said Vittorio, 10, who mentioned how he was starting to get a little tired of people thinking he was a girl because he had long hair.
"In Italy lots of boys have long hair so nobody mentions it but here everyone just thinks I'm a girl. Hopefully not anymore!".
Vittorio had 15 inches of straight blonde hair cut off at Helmet Hair in Monmouth last week and has now sent it to the Hereford based charity to be made into a wig for a child in need.
