Following the successful introduction the UEFA Disney Playmaker programme at Trellech Primary School by Mrs Jane Phillips and Miss Emily Ward, encouraging girls to engage in sport , the school were honoured to receive some incredible news regarding a once in a lifetime opportunity for two of our UEFA Disney Playmakers participants. They were contacted by Bethan Woolley, FAW regarding the launch of new book by UEFA.  

This Summer, Inside Out 2 is being launched by Disney, and is due to hit cinemas across the world, UEFA have been working with Disney to create a Playmakers session on this brand new film which is set to be launched on the same date as the new film.

UEFA had a slot at the media interviews for the film in London and, through the Football Association of Wales Sophia Evans and Esther Hamlyn,  two of the Year Four UEFA Disney Playmakers interviewed the incredible Hollywood actress Amy Poehler who stars in the films.

We are so incredibly proud of Sophia and Esther who represented Trellech Primary School, Monmouthshire and Wales so magnificently, some budding presenters in the making!

In 2015, Poehler received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and won a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in a Television Musical or Comedy Series in 2014.
