A PRIMARY school’s PTFA is celebrating a significant milestone this academic year with a festival with live music, entertainment and stalls, culminating in a spectacular laser show today (Thursday, October 24).

Pulzar Laser Productions have been invited to provide the laser show for the OverMonnow School Autumn fair, which is open to the public and starts at 4.45pm, after the association reached out to local businesses to help sponsor this year's bigger events.

Charity trustee Caroline Thomas-Layne said: "The response from our wonderful, community minded businesses has been incredible. We wish to thank; Precision Engineering LTD, Robert Price Builders Merchants, Tri-wall Europe, Price Heat LTD, Wye Electrical Solutions LTD, Wayne Vaughn Painting and Decorating and Wyefield Windows and Doors LTD.

Pulzar Laser productions specialises in computerised laser shows that are synchronised to music. The show is fantastically visual in its own right, similar to the experience you would have at a firework display in terms of visual impact.

But the company has found that many organisations are now favouring laser shows and substituting fireworks for Lasers. This is becoming ever more common due to Cost, Health and Safety, and Environmental issues. Feedback also indicates that the audio is far more pet friendly.

To meet this increasing need, Pulzar have gone the extra mile and developed a mind blowing finale show that can operate with or without any fossil based fuels.

The event includes ive music, entertainment, stalls, food and a licensed bar culminating in the laser show.

Gates for Overmonnow Fest open at 4.45pm. Tickets are £6 and U3s free, with cash or contactless card payments on the gate.
