The 29th annual 6-a-side football tournament hosted by Habs Monmouth Prep saw 15 teams and over 130 enthusiastic young players from Usk, Osbaston, Overmonnow, Kymin View, Pentrepoeth, and Cross Ash primary schools compete.

The highly competitive matches were expertly refereed by the hosts’s dedicated 6th form pupils, ensuring fair play and a fantastic experience for all. Teams were divided into pools of 5, leading to fiercely contested league matches and an exhilarating knockout competition.

The results were as follows: Shield Winners: Overmonnow, showcasing remarkable resilience and teamwork; Bowl Winners: Cross Ash, demonstrating exceptional skill and strategy; Plate Winners: Usk, with a brilliant performance throughout the tournament; Cup Champions: Monmouth Prep, clinching a thrilling 1-0 victory against Pentrepoeth in a nail-biting final.
