There is a public meeting this Thursday April 17 at 6:30pm at the Royal Oak to share information over the planned health centre at Osbaston.
The field south of Osbaston Road and adjacent to the Osbaston Church in Wales School is being proposed as the site of a new Health and Wellbeing Centre. This centre will serve the whole of Monmouth and the surrounding area, with people attending for services including midwifery, chiropody, diabetes, sexual health services and drugs misuse counselling. The building will also include the GP practice currently located on Dixton Road. This will obviously generate a very significant increase in traffic across Osbaston.
This is one of the reasons why FROGS is objecting to this location for the Health Centre. They want to understand more about any issues you are already having getting around Osbaston and if you have any concerns about additional traffic coming into the area.
They have produced an online survey consisting of 12 quick, multiple choice questions plus an option for comments. It is completely anonymous.
