A Monmouthshire restaurant has been handed a new three-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Llanwenarth Hotel & Restaurant, a restaurant, cafe or canteen at Brecon Road, Llanwenarth, Abergavenny was given the score after assessment on May 1, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Monmouthshire's 215 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 148 (69%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
