The THREE-day 45,000-capacity music festival planned for August – billed as Wales' biggest - has been cancelled
Organiser James Kenny posted on social media that the festival could not go ahead with its current plans.
Last week we reported that a change of venue was forced on them following the plans to use the Monmouthshire Showground site had collapsed.
Now the team at Monmouth Rising has posted on social media that they cannot move forward with the “current plans” and that the “current format is not viable”.
They confirmed that all ticker golders will have their money refunded and all vendors will have their deposits refunded.
They hope to “bring this event to life “ in 2026.
