AN 84-YEAR-OLD Monmouth man is facing court action over an alleged dangerous dog.

Brian Neanor from Forge Road, Osbaston, has been accused under the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991 of being the owner or person in charge of a 30kg French-bred Bouvier which was dangerously out of control.

The alleged incident took place in Forge Road on March 10, Newport magistrates were told.

The case has been adjourned to September 20.
