A MAN has been remanded in custody to appear at crown court in connection with a huge cannabis farm found in a disused town centre shop.
Police raided the former TUI store beside WH Smith in Chepstow High Street on Monday morning, November 4, and found cannabis plants growing on five floors of the building.
Artan Dedia, aged 36, has now appeared before Newport magistrates charged with producing a class B drug, being concerned in the supply of a class B drug and abstracting electricity at the site.
Dedia, of High Street, Chepstow, was remanded to appear again at crown court on December 2.
