Tŷ Price Community Centre, Overmonnow has recently been able to take on a part time caretaker/cleaner.

Laura Kinnear has joined the team of voluntary workers at Tŷ Price, and her appointment has been made possible due to a grant from Monmouth Town Council.

Most activities at Tŷ Price were disrupted in the last two years due to Covid, but now the booking for groups and parties are very much increasing.

Laura is meeting and greeting new users and showing them around the main hall, fully equipped kitchen, wonderful garden, or the three other smaller rooms.

The main hall was recently full with local people who have offered help in various ways for Ukrainian families who are expected to move to Monmouth.

The lovely garden will be a centre for a celebration of The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee on Saturday, June 4 to which the local community will be welcome to drop in for refreshments, games and music.
