ONE lane has been closed on the A40 southbound causing delays for motorists travelling to Monmouth from Ross.

The lane has been closed near to Dixton roundabout since around 12pm due to a broken down vehicle.

Delays described as severe are to be expected, as traffic is queuing from before Whitchurch.
