Goodrich Cricket Club rounded off their season with the annual awards dinner at The Old Court, Whitchurch, last Friday evening (11th November).

Goodrich had a mixed year with success at the start of the year, winning the Herefordshire indoor cricket plate, the 1st XI finished third in the Marches League Division 1 and were runners up in the Marches Cup.

There was also disappointment with the 2nd XI being relegated from a strong Marches League Division 2.

With the junior cricket, Goodrich started the season having to pull out of the U13 league due to a lack of players.

However, with the help of some more coaches training at the club and visits to local schools, the season finished with many more young players training at the ground.
