Monmouth Foodbank’s running friends at Monmouth Park Run generously donated 57kgs of food and toiletries collected at their Easter run to the Foodbank on Saturday April 19.

Martin Howlett, Foodbank manager said that the support from members of our community “is essential for us to help people in times of crisis. Monmouth Park Run's members generous donation is enough to help five people in crisis with an emergency food parcels.”
The foodbank exists to help people in crisis with 3 emergency food parcels over a 6 month period.
Like most foodbanks they have seen a reduction in food donations. Monmouth has seen a 30 percent decline in donations over the last two years.
