MONMOUTH'S Dan Head carried his bat for 21 in a remarkable 18-run win at Netherton in the opening Worcestershire County League Division 2 match of the campaign on Saturday.

Head helped Monmouth to reach 87-8, and then the Welsh club dismissed the hosts for just 69 to score a remarkable victory – and their first ever win at Netherton.
