The trainline between Wales and the Midlands was disrupted last Friday as a result of a fire breaking out.
A number of people reported delays to their journeys because of the incident. Replacement buses were called in to take passengers to Newport and Cardiff.
The train was the 2.30pm from Birmingham New Street to Cardiff. It was due in to Chepstow at 3.50pm but the fire broke out as it pulled into the station and everyone was evacuated – reportedly 55 passengers.
Linda and Matthew Clark, two passengers on the train said: “As we left we actually saw flames coming out from under the door at the front of the train. It was all at the front near the driver.”
