Something wicked comes to the Drill Hall Chepstow this week, on Thursday March 6 at 7pm. David Tennant plays Macbeth for the first time in his stage career and won awards for his performance in this ground-breaking, 5-star production of Shakespeare's tragedy.

David Tennant and Cush Jumbo lead a stellar cast in this thrilling staging of Macbeth, filmed live at the Donmar Warehouse in London.

Unsettling intimacy and brutal action combine at breakneck speed as Max Webster directs this tragic tale of love, murder, and nature’s power of renewal.

With a running time of just less than two hours, and no interval, the screening starts at 7pm. Brought to the Drill Hall screen by Chepstow Arts, Culture and Entertainment (CHACE) a new volunteer organisation, who have made a special reduced price for 18s and under (film cert 12A). Book in advance online at www.drillhallchepstow.co.uk. Tickets are also available at the door from 6.30pm
