The much-anticipated Glover Concert Series is set to begin at Haberdashers’ Monmouth Schools on Monday, November 11th, with an exciting line-up of performances. The prestigious series will open with an unforgettable evening featuring world-renowned vocal ensemble VOCES8, who will not only perform at the Blake Theatre that evening but also engage students in a special workshop during the day.

Under the esteemed patronage of alumna Dame Jane Glover DBE, an acclaimed conductor and music scholar, The Glover Concert Series will establish itself as a hallmark of artistic excellence at Haberdashers’ Monmouth School.

The British vocal ensemble VOCES8, celebrated for its rich harmonies and innovative interpretations across genres, will share its expertise with Haberdashers’ Monmouth’s students in an exclusive workshop aimed at honing their musical skills. Students will have a unique opportunity to learn from some of the finest voices in contemporary classical and choral music, exploring everything from technique to the artistry behind ensemble performance.

Director of Music Derek Harris commented, “We are thrilled to welcome VOCES8 to Haberdashers’ Monmouth School for the launch of The Glover Concert Series. It’s a fantastic opportunity for our students to learn directly from world-class artists and for the entire community to experience an evening of exceptional music.”
