A MAN in his fifties has died after an incident at Chepstow’s National Diving Centre yesterday (11th April).
Gloucestershire Police has confirmed that the 52-year-old man from Great Yarmouth, Norfolk lost his life yesterday while diving at the centre.
A police spokesperson said: “Police and ambulance services were called at 5.20pm after the diver was pulled from the water but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
“An initial investigation has commenced with the police and the Health & Safety Executive on behalf of the coroner. Our thoughts are with the man’s family and friends following this tragic incident.”
