A WOMAN died and a man was admitted to hospital last Saturday (15th November) after an incident at the National Diving Centre, Chepstow.
The husband and wife from Devon had been scuba diving with a friend.
The woman, who was in her fifties, died at the scene and her husband was taken to a decompression unit in Plymouth. He is now in hospital in a critical but stable condition.
A spokeperson from Gloucestershire Police said: "Officers are working with the Health and Safety Executive to investigate this unexplained death but it is believed not to be
suspicious."
Gloucestershire Police said they were not investigating the dive centre.
