Monmouth’s Deputy Mayor was present at the recent opening of another new business in White Swan Court.

Cllr Evans said “At a time when a record number of businesses throughout the UK are closing it is great to be able to welcome another new venture to Monmouth. This is the third business to open in White Swan Court in recent weeks. I thank all of them for their investment and confidence in our town.”

Sheren McCabe-Finlayson, Chair of the Chamber of Commerce said the business group were delighted to “see the faith that is being invested in our town by the new shops that have recently been opening.

“This is especially true at the top end of town, where White Swan Court is now at full retail capacity.

“We have an interesting mix of businesses, some of whom we have already welcomed as new Chamber Members,” she added.

“Monmouth has a wonderful selection of independent shops alongside household names: please shop ‘local’ and support our high street businesses the way they support the community.”
