MONMOUTHSHIRE County Council's new community hub for Usk will open on Monday 6th July.
The new venue will house the community learning and youth services for the town, as well as the council's integrated library and one stop shop teams.
Located in the former youth service building in Maryport Street, it has been renovated to provide a first class resource for community use. The council is developing new ways to continue services and this provision is a large part of that.
Cllr Bob Greenland, Monmouthshire's cabinet member for Innovation, Enterprise and Leisure said: "We listened to the concerns of the local community and are pleased to see the opening of the new venue for our combined services provision in Usk.
"This new approach allows us to continue providing much needed and regarded local services while reducing operating costs such as building maintenance and utilities.
"We hope that the community will continue to enjoy this provision for many years to come".
Opening times for community learning classes and other services will be advertised at the centre. When not in use by council services the building will be available for hire by community groups.
