EACH year, Monmouth Town Council fund a Community Grants Scheme of up to £25,000 to support local community groups, organisations and charities with their work and projects.

The fund is open for applications twice a year (March and October) and managed by the People and Places Committee.

Previous projects have included funding musical equipment for local choirs, running costs of support groups and supporting renovations of local community groups.  There is no limit on the amount that can be requested although the Town Council always strives to help as many organisations as possible throughout the year. All applicants will need to consider the criteria of the grants before completing an application form setting out the aims and costs of the project or works being carried out.

Once the application form and the supporting documentation are ready, they should be submitted via email to [email protected] or by hand to Town Council Office at the Shire Hall.  If you are a member of a charity or community group that is interested in being kept informed about the Town Council Community Grants Scheme, including application opening dates, please email [email protected] and they will add you to our mailing list.
