The Monmouth Chamber of Commerce ran a Christmas Window competition with the winner chosen by Monmouth’s deputy mayor, Cllr Jackie Atkins.

The winner was the Bees for Development shop in Agincourt Street which Jackie described as a beautiful celebration of nature in precious metals, a spectacular display of golden insects, their honey and home, this shop has managed to celebrate Christmas & promote their own clients .

Other shops she thought merited a mention were “Bumbles” for their slick and professional display which wouldn’t have looked out-of-place on Oxford St;

“Roscoe, Rogers & Knight” who never fail to delight everyone with their superb nativity scene which compliments the architecture of their shop so well;

“Hair by Jones” for their wonderful festive wreath which was simple yet impactful.
