SIR, I would like to extend my sincere thanks to everyone who supported the 10th Dave Roberts Charity Golf Day which resulted in a fantastic sum of around £3,200 being given to Great Oaks Hospice. The support given by the players taking part and those who either gave prizes or bought raffle tickets will be very much appreciated by all those who use the services at Great Oaks Hospice. Special thanks must go to John Freeman of Forest Products, who supported the event, and to Keith Bell of KW Bell Group. Team winners were Paul Emsley, Matthew Hughes, Phil Bryant and Steve Gwilliam with team runners up of Bob Gurney, Cyril Amos, Dave Page and Dave Langley. Individual winner was Jason Roberts with Brian George as runner-up. Sally Meek was the Individual Ladies Winner and Stuart Russell, Martyn Walker and Geoff Hester won nearest the pin.
