Eagle-eyed motorists will have noticed that there has been a change to the parking regulations on Drybridge Street.

The only section that caters for non-residents runs from the entrance of the caravan park to the Jewel Balti, formerly the Britannia Inn.

Monmouthshire County Council said that the change to Drybridge street parking provision “was fully consulted upon in A012 previously and approved and included in the sealed Traffic Order A012.

“The bays were altered to permit residents only parking only i.e. the previous 1 hour non-resident option/ability to park there was removed.

The traffic team fully legally consulted upon it at the request of the construction and projects design team.
