An 11-year old boy who saved his dad's life from a bull attack has received a Pride of Britain award from his favourite TV presenter Richard Hammond.

Tom Phillips was quick to jump behind the wheel of dad Andrew's tractor when the bull went berserk at their Cross Ash farm back in May.

The bull tossed Andrew up in the air, breaking several of his ribs, but Tom managed to keep it at bay until help arrived.

Top Gear star Richard flew in by helicopter to give Tom his invite to the Pride of Britain awards, which take place next Wednesday (5th October) in London.

'Hamster' also took Tom for a spin in a 200mph McLaren supercar – the £170,000 MP4-12C.
