An Abergavenny man who was reported missing over the weekend, has been found safe and well, police have confirmed.

Gwent Police launched an appeal on Saturday, December 30 to locate Abergavenny man Gavin Povey, 55, who was last seen outside Lloyds Bank in Abergavenny town centre.

Police took to X (formally known at Twitter) on December, 31 to confirm that Mr Povey has since been found and thanked the public for their help.
